"We cannot express how much we loved our stay here. The front desk team was incredibly attentive, helpful, and paid great attention to every detail. They even managed to do our laundry and return it within just a few hours. The food and restaurant were wonderful, and the entire property felt like a peaceful, beautifully maintained garden. Everything was spotless and relaxing. We especially loved the deck and the stream beside our pool, it made the experience even more special. Breakfast was amazing every morning, and booking tours through the hotel was effortless. A special mention to Denise at the front desk, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Also the location is walking distance to nice local restaurants and shops. We would happily return and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and exceptional getaway."

"This was the most beautiful hotel and property I have ever stayed at! (Which I guess is reflected in the price...) Everyone was kind and lovely. The breakfast was amazing! The dinner options were excellent portions as well! Unfortunately we arrived the day before they closed the pool and hot tubs for maintenance."

"Our family of four stayed for two nights in the room with a queen and two large bunk beds and it was perfect for a short stay. The free breakfast was delicious and made to order. ALL of the staff was so kind and helpful. They helped arrange transportation to Monteverde Cloud Forest Preserve and helped book a night tour at a different reserve, giving us a variety of options. We would definitely stay here again and will look into their sister hotels in Oaxaca and Nicaragua. As a bonus we saw parrots and a coati from our room."

"Fondavela Hotel exceeded all expectations: the rooms/facilities are designed to promote comfort and tranquility, the location is ideal for accessing Monteverde cloud forest, the food was EXCELLENT, and the staff were outstanding! I hope to return again on my next visit to Costa Rica. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable!"

"The property is excellent. We simply loved our stay at Los Pinos Cabanas.It is such a beautiful property and surrounding is amazing. The place is so beautiful we wanted to just stay a few more days to enjoy the property. It is central to all shopping, groceries and restaurants. The property has trails we enjoyed so much. It was super clean, all rooms had an attached bathroom which was such a HUGE bonus. They have a beautiful patio with swing and a table to enjoy our dinner outdoors. I will highly recommend this to my friends and family and would love to myself come back and stay here. Only recommendation is to maybe have a portable heater in the unit. It does get cold even in June month and a little heat would be awesome."
