"What a hidden gem in Salina! The Best Inn is always very clean with nice, updated rooms, in a quiet setting. The owners are great as well! Always very friendly and helpful, and they offer reasonable rates. They don't serve breakfast, but with the money you save you can get a great breakfast nearby and still have money left over. Even if you are just passing through, and getting off the highway for the night, it's worth it to come a couple of miles in off the interstate to stay here "
"Pluses were location and previous experience. The upgrades are very good with a couple of exceptions. The desktop coffee pot cannot be plugged in. The TV stand/dresser covers 1/2 of the plug.
The lower shower head for hand held shower doesn't connect to the water supply by any visible means. If there is a way, there should be directions. Tried to include photo but website wouldn't accept.

"The staff was the friendliest I've ever encountered. They were so helpful in making sure we were comfortable. The beds were so nice to sleep in, no squeaks or crinkling. None of the linens smelled like industrial bleach, they all smelled clean. The toiletries offered were great as well. We will definitely stay here again. "
