「Rooms, pool, staff, everything about this Hotel was A++, Excellent 👍 Our family will not book a stay anywhere else in Manhattan; unless, there isnt an available room. We stay in Manhattan frequently for Healthcare, and this is BY FAR the BEST place to stay!」

「The first room they put us in, the air conditioner just DID NOT work! So, they were helpful in moving us to another room. The air conditioner in this room worked somewhat, it blew cool air, but it just didn't remove the humidity, so we had cool but very damp air. Made it hard to sleep, the sheets stuck to us. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable and the whole room was spacious and clean.」

「We have stayed at the Bluemont over the last 5 years at least once or twice a year. They have new management that started in January. On the website, it said free breakfast included, which wasn’t accurate, it was $10 per person. They did comp us once we brought this to our attention , but we had to pay $17 per day for 3 days in order to get the comp. 「Miss Aubrey checked us in. She was professional, friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, beds comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent . Biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, waffles, fried onions and peppers and that was the hot breakfast. An assortment of cold breakfast food was available as well. We met Miss Virginia the chef. 「Only stay at this property as a last resort. One or two staff members attempted to be helpful and most were friendly, but they are set up to fail given the horrible conditions of the rooms. Hot, hunid. AC that can't drop the temp below 74. Shirts come out of the closet damp. 3 nights stayed and never received housekeeping, other than the day I specifically asked the desk clerk to have them come replace the towels on the floor used to mop up the water due to the shower door gaps. Just terrible....

「Good location and close to numerous dining and shopping options. AC worked great! Dropped a star because the bathroom door in our room did not close properly. Not a big deal as it was just my husband and I in the room, but maybe something to get fixed before the next guest thinks it is a big deal.」
