Breakfast is good. There is a common place where you can get hot water from, a kettle in the room would be better though. The luck has it, that the internet was not working in the wing we stayed that day.

Great hotel that had everything we needed. Super friendly staff and super clean. The location is perfect and the views are amazing. The room had everything we needed and the breakfast everyday is amazing! They have great dinner options too. Just book it.

This hotel was so retro and adorable. Really appreciated the top rate breakfast and the restaurant for dinner. Sitting room was relaxing in the evening. Views to the fjord were amazing, parking easy, staff helpful. Family room worked well for the three of us.

Basic hotel in a small village but immense value. The room was smallish but very well laid out and the fjord view was amazing! Breakfast was well stocked and tasty with a great view! This location truly was viewed as a necessary stop over before we came to Norway. After two weeks here I can say this was our best value by far and the village was quaint and easily walkable from this hotel. Would visit again in a heartbeat!

The good and the bad.... Good: The room was spacious and had great views; the check-in staff was friendly. Bad: The eggs, sausage, and beans were cold at breakfast, even though we were the first ones there right as it opened. Which was a shame, as it was all tasty; it was just off-putting to be cold when it was supposedly freshly made. Worst: While the room was spacious and had those views, it lacked any soundproofing! Our room (106) had an adjoining door with the room next door, and we could hear them chatting as though they were right in our room; even with earplugs in, it was impossible to ignore them and sleep. And for me, the minimum a hotel room must offer is the ability for you to sleep!

Booked last minute easily, and they were able to accommodate an early check in. The view from the lounge is spectacular, and the breakfast that was included was not lacking in anything. The perfect spot for a one or two day stop!

It doesn't look great but does the job. A comfortable clean room with a good view to the fjord. Plenty of parking. Breakfast not so great. Hot dishes, baked beans, tiny sausage and scrambled eggs weren't hot, maybe luke warm. Juice was coloured water. Selection of breads, just two cereals and yoghurt and selection of cheeses and meats but unlike other good hotels very light on the renown cold fish Scandinavian options, in fact one! Dinner was just three options so we sought elsewhere.

Fine for short stay

Hotel is located very close to the center of the town and harbour. Unfortunately there is no fridge and no tv in room. Hotel offers very good breakfasts and coffee/tea all day long (for free) in the cafeteria. Great view from part of the rooms to the fjord and harbour.

Overall a good place to stay. Clean room, easy to find, free parking, great view from common areas & breakfast sunroom. The property is a little older but it's well kept. Some updates like a tv or a mini fridge in the room would have made our stay just a little more comfortable. Even just an ice machine accessible to guests would be great. The breakfast was good. Great cheeses, breads, jams and coffee options although the smoked salmon was a let down as it was much too thick.

Excellent value! Great Views, wonderful restaurant! Convenient walk to the coffee/bakery /food trucks/water. I was in off season so it was super quiet and peaceful. It was a very easy stay I would recommend.
