Even though we informed them that the weather conditions on the Geilo roads were extremely bad, they did nothing to help us. We were left stranded in the cold, and instead of offering any assistance, they simply ignored us until the reservation time had passed. 「I needed to sleep a night close to Flam and decided to take the touristic train and stay here on my way to Oslo. Beautiful hotel surrounded by mountains. Quiet, peaceful. Just beautiful. They have a restaurant which offered a delicious buffet. Very impressed. Definitely a spot for someone looking for tranquility. There is a trail too that can take you all the way to Flam. From here you can take the train to Myrdal station (1 stop only 3 minutes) and change trains to Oslo. Very easy!」
