「Had a 2 nigh stay here. The staff were really lovely and helpful in any way you wanted. The hotel is run down really, it looks awful from the outside, the smoking bins were not emptied although the gardens were nice the hotel did not match it. The widows were looking rotten with all the paint coming off. The bed was really uncomfortable, very noisy when lying down. The rooms could to with TLC. The meals were really nice evening dinner and breakfast no problem there. I felt really sorry...

「The hotel is in a lovely place facing the sea with areas to walk. A few minutes walk from the railway museum and train rides to a beautiful area. The only thing I was unhappy with was that not all the staff worked as a team at meal times. The rooms, facilities and amenities were all lovely. Staff were approachable.」

「The hostel is cozy, located close to the lake, and within a short drive or a hike from Scafell. The food at the restaurant is fantastic. There is also a kitchen which can be used to cook your own food. The staff are all very friendly.」
