Quite disappointed really, the property is in need of a good sprucing up, we were greeted by a gnarled front door, the freezer had leaked all over the floor, the dishwasher didn’t work properly, it was very cold in the cottage, the heating didn’t work, there were no logs, the shower was poor, the toilet seat was hanging off, the whole place needed a really good clean. The furniture was uncomfortable, the sun room could have been lovely, there was a big water mark stain on the ceiling, and the furniture in there was very tired and uncomfortable. The beds weren’t too bad, but the duvets weren’t big enough, they barely touched the sides of the bed. For the money that is being taken at the property, I think lots of improvements could be made

Work trip with family

A great place to unwind whilst working away. Lovely garden and the cottage is great for spending time with a young family and also dog friendly.

Cottage is nice and private, good sofa area and bedrooms are as described. Unfortunately the cleaning was poor (especially given the emphasis placed on ‘covid cleaning protocols’) and we had to clean the kitchen and bathroom ourselves on arrival - food and crumbs everywhere in kitchen, bathroom not clean.
