Staff were excellent, Livingston is a modern town with fantastic shopping facilities. Noisy doors were a negative and it the hotel was a bit rowdy on Friday evening

Clean the worn out carpets and have staff on reception, we had to go looking for someone. Very noisy and every door and lock rattled or banged which made it worse with the paper thin walls.

Great place

Had 2 nights here, met the new owner in the car park on Friday evening, he was very friendly and stopped to chat again on Saturday evening. Food was great. Will definitely be staying again.

Early check in went well and we were shown to our room which had everything we needed and was lovely and clean. The bed was very comfortable and I slept really well. Only criticism I have is the first impression on entering the bedroom block......was how dirty the carpet on the floor and stairs is which made me wonder if I should have booked the property. But entering the bedroom changed that idea and all was well.

Terrible carpet dirty , shower was not working, next to a bar with a noisy party going on. Check in at the bar. Car park full of trash. Poor value. Expect a refund!

Friendly Hotel

Staff were really friendly and helpful (got show to my room). Room/bathroom were spotless, nice touch with the welcome chocolate on the pillow. Didn’t use the restaurant or bar so couldn’t comment. Great location for Edinburgh/airport. Would recommend & definitely use again

Not bad, not great... a good little spot to put down your head. No frills, but for the price it's not bad. Rooms are a tad dated, and the beds could be comfier (2 flat pillows aren't enough) but overall its a good nights sleep.

We arrived at about 11.30pm at property, after a short drive from Edinburgh Airport Luckily for us Leanne waited for us and showed us to our room. The room was pleasant and had coffee and tea making facilities. Ticked all the boxes

On arrival saw notice that breakfast unavailable due to kitchen issues. The description online and the view on arrival were different. However, the room and bathroom were clean. Walls thin so could be disturbed by other guests. This is mainly a stop off for overnight trip/contractors really.

Room was terrible. No soap or gel in bathroom. Door to bathroom was very hard to open and close. It looked like a new floor was put down but door was not adjuster to fit new floor. Will say towles were great big and fluffy.
