The room was really comfortable, the wifi worked excellent and the location was perfect because it was close to the old and new town but far enough to get some rest. The staff of the hotel was the best thing, they were always kind with us and they gave us an excellent service!

Very interesting older building. Quite a few stairs to bring luggage up to 3rd floor. First room was an attic room but it was quite big enough. Staff were obliging when I requested a room on a lower floor when i came back for a second stay. I also got breakfast included on second stay. It was lovely full Scottish breakfast too. Beds were comfortable & rooms were clean.

This hotel was adequate, but a bit run down. The bed was smaller than expected. Location was a bit far from city center and it took a long time to get a taxi/ uber to pick us up. The staff members were friendly.

Well situated clean and friendly hotel.

Lovely clean hotel, run by friendly attentive staff. Great location on a main road. A brisk walk gets you into the West End of Edinburgh in 20 minutes. It’s an ideal spot.

Convenient location

Was very convenient to Haymarket Railway station a 5 minute walk which makes it also easy to get down to Waverley or Princes Street etc bed very comfortable good sized TV in the room proper sized kettle too. Great little bar as well available. Staff all friendly Kasia was lovely and very friendly allowed me to leave bags arriving early.

This was a lovely hotel! Very charming! The chair in the room was in the way and not useful. We asked to have the bathroom window raised, as we could not do it ourselves. The staff apparently forgot. They did bring a fan. Otherwise, our stay was very enjoyable

I love this property. It is so cute and quaint. The area around is absolutely gorgeous, the only hard part we had was having lunches/dinners. Thankfully just a bit further up the street is mamy restaurants.
