4/5 - Good
Actually we were right across the river from Wiscasset. It is a small town and OK during the off season.

The only negative was the bathroom in the room we stayed in. It had patched over spots in the walls and something stuck to the bottom of the bathtub floor that could not be cleaned off some type of adhesive.

The location is centrally located, it’s between Wells beach and Wells harbor. There are excellent restaurants nearby that offer great seafood dishes, as well as international options. I95 is easily accessible, Portland is an easy drive, as well as Cape Elizabeth.

You can spend time studying the exhibits at Edgecomb Potters Gallery during your trip to Edgecomb. While you're in the area, stroll along the waterfront.
Explore the lovely green spaces of Fort Edgecomb State Historical Site and also enjoy the boating in Edgecomb. While you're in the area, stroll along the waterfront.

It is a beautiful town but isolated. If going to Boothbay Harbor or Damariscotta or the actual Edgecomb area, it is a great place to stay.
Was not able to take in the attractions in the area as was at a conference. But do intend to come back for a leisure trip to do just that!
It is a beautiful area and it’s easy to get everywhere.
Part of a greater tourist area with much to see. Easy getting to Botanical Gardens too
Pretty town
