「TL;DR: rooms are dated but very comfortable, breakfast is incredible, location is great for exploring Weimar. Now the full version: check-in was easy and fast, staff was very friendly. We were amused that the hotel doesn’t use keycards but actual keys still. That in fact resonates with the room decor and overall aesthetic: lots of dark wood and carpet with gold details, giving it a dated feel. It isn’t, however, a bad room at all.
