「First of all, this is not a hotel. It is a bed and breakfast type place. It is in a hard to find area of old town Salerno. It was a very unique or different experience staying here for one night but Angelo went out of his way to make sure everything worked out well even securing us a taxi the following morning to the train station. It is well worth staying here but no elevators!!!!」

「Very nice stay with feel-like home service. The breakfast is really good with an amazing view at the terrance. Very clean and cozy, look exactly the same as the photos & description」

「I cannot praise this enough. Gaetano and Franca are the most hospitable hosts who go above and beyond to make your stay as relaxing as possible. My daughter and I travelled to Paestum by train and Gaetano offered to pick us up, take us grocery shopping and made great recommedations about local restaurants. The apartments are set in stunning gardens, only 10 minutes for the beach, easily accesible by both foot and by bikes, provided for each apartment.」

「The hosts are very nice. perfect location and quiet, close to the train station and ferry terminal. Highly recommended!」

「The place was neat and cozy and the host was very helpful. Very close to a beautiful beach and great places to eat.」

「I think overall this is a great stay, it’s close enough to the city to be walkable but far enough that it feels removed from the very touristy area. The Residence Due Torro would definitely benefit from being small upgrades to specially the bathroom, linens, and ensuring there’s not ants. Be mindful that is it an older building but Italy itself is old, which personally enjoyed and it adds to the authenticity of the trip!」

「Grande cambiamento negli anni, personale cordialissimo e sempre a disposizione, ottima posizione e colazione! Ci ritorneremo!」
