"This elegant, European-style hotel was top-of-class: sophisticated lobby; spotless rooms/bathrooms; and, everything we could have wished for had we waved a magic wand. I’m used to American hotels with plastic/paper cups, the single-cup coffee maker, and plastic bathroom cups wrapped in more plastic. Here, we had glassware and coffee mugs with saucers; plus, we had a Nespresso machine and tea bags. We were upgraded to the Spa level, even with our two Chihuahua’s, and it was so nice. The room had two heavy-duty, embroidered robes, two sets of slippers, and two eye masks/earplugs. There was a safe in the room, refrigerator, umbrella, shoe horn, and towels for the pool/Nordic Bath. Our bathroom: five different spray jets in the shower, a scale, a magnifying mirror, and a dental floss dispenser on the wall. The heavy, terry cloth towels were embroidered and a makeup remover wash cloth was given. The room had charging cables, a good television, and plug-in’s in nightstands. We had an iPad for ordering room service and/or Spa services. There were three sets of curtains/blinds, including blackout. The room had a Scandinavian chair with ottoman. Don’t get me started on the different pillows and the ironed, embroidered sheets. I did not want to leave the bed. This was the “lap of luxury,” for a slightly above average price for the room (via Expedia). If you are ever near Sherbrooke, this hotel will make you happy."
