"Really funky hotel design. Check in was smooth. There's two towers to the hotel and the naming convention was a little confusing. There's also multiple sets of lifts depending which side of the tower you are on as well. Easy to get lost! Some lifts are very small/tight. The hallways to the rooms as well. Bit of a maze, weaving around. Our room was pretty well laid out. Carpets had a lot of stains but they blend in with the pattern. No iron or ironing board in the room. Bed was comfy and roomy. One pillow was hard and one soft. The tv has sooooo many channels! It's crazy. Bathroom was very tight and the toilet right against the shower so your knee touches. The toilet rolls also stopped the lid going up/down. If you are of bigger size it would be an issue and I'd get an accessible room for more space. The shower was quite low roofed and looks like it's had some rework from above. Theres cracks all around and bubbles in the roof paint. The mirror frame was installed wonky with a huge gap. As others have said the carpark is insane. It's crazy tight and steep. I have no idea how two bigger cars I saw got in. One spot was on a 40' angle. I don't know any car apart from a Smart that could fit. I've never seen anything like it before. All in all, a comfortable stay for the price we paid ($200 + $40 for parking)."

"Rooms are good, nothing to fault. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is reasonable for a small boutique hotel, but they didn't seem to replenish ran out items. Parking was very very tight. Understandable given to location of the premises."

"The location is outstanding, close to everything, Room was small but they had made good use of space. The key safe pickup was easy. I did call the reception on the number provided to enquire about aircon & accessing an iron as presenting material next day. There was no response over the 3 days despite leaving my name & number, the msg actually said it was the hotel Challis - maybe they run both? The shared bathroom was a concern- was cleaned daily - but after landing and needing a shower in the early evening there was hairs long, short, curly …. there was also a rapid decrease in toilet paper (pilfered perhaps). There are stairs to each floor so ensure you are able to climb them & perhaps pack lite. Generally however the location made everything ok - next door is the ‘grumpy baker’ outstanding!!"
