「We had lovely hosts! The breakfast was delicious and we could've only wished to have stayed longer! The airline forgot our luggage and our hosts were most kind and helpful while getting things settled for the airline to deliver our bag. The place was warm and inviting, and was well kept! Next door was a pub with delicious food as well and very convenient. We could not recommend this place enough!」

「The room we stayed in at the back of the pub called The Old Barn was amazing. So clean, eco friendly and spacious. We did think the top floor overlooking the lounge area could be utilised better as there was just a massive dining table in there. The staff and dining in the pub was exceptional. 」

「The Hotelis set in its own grounds just off a modrately busy road. We were welcomed when we entered the hotel and check in was very easy. We were shown to our room which was light and airy with very high celings. The Bathroom had a beautiful roll-top bath and a large shwer with a 'waterfall' head. (Great control and none of this water going from hot to cold you sometimes get) We didn't eat here as we were meeting friends in Derby so can't comment about the food but we did have breakfast here...

「Lovely clean room, not that I used it but a great addition was the fridge with beer and wine for you to purchase if you wanted to. Lovely place with a great breakfast at the on site licenced cafe ( the cakes were fantastic) check in and check out ran smooth and stress free」

「This b&b is a gem: it is quirkily decorated and a delight to stay in. There is no kettle in your room but you are offered freshly made tea / coffee and have your choice of early morning drink delivered to your room half an hour before breakfast- a perfect start to the day. The breakfast is excellent, freshly cooked to order, with locally sourced produce. We look forward to returning…」

「Lovely B&B. Clean, spacious and quiet. Breakfast was really good. Close to Matlock by foot. However, it’s quite on a hill. So not so practical for people with mobility issues. 」
