「A lovely get away from it all pub with a great breakfast every morning and a good menu for the evening. A short drive from the village of Hartington.」

「Upon getting into bed we discovered hair on the bedsheets long dark hair, and there was rubbish behind the bedside table and behind the desk/dressing table and also in the bedside drawer. Unfortunately I didn’t take any pictures 」

「Midweek trip to Buxton and surrounding area. Host, Louise was extremely helpful before during and after our stay. The rooms are modern, well equipped and very comfortable for short stays. The property is very well located for public transport and just a short walk to Buxton attractions We would highly recommend 」

「Wonderful stay, late check out is great, really good wifi, food in the morning is fantastic and varied, staff are all lovely and friendly. Will stay again soon!」

「The room we stayed in at the back of the pub called The Old Barn was amazing. So clean, eco friendly and spacious. We did think the top floor overlooking the lounge area could be utilised better as there was just a massive dining table in there. The staff and dining in the pub was exceptional. 」

「Exceptional property with great service. They make sure your stay is pleasant and that you are well fed. Location has a beautiful hike right behind that overlooks the valley. 」
