"The front desk man was very kind and helpful, our room, although outdated and rundown, was as very clean. There was plenty of parking despite them being sold out. I suppose my rating Is reflecting more on the experience my mom and I had that really the hotel didn’t have control over. A person came to our door close to midnight and started banging on the door, it was very scary. The issue was resolved but by that time I was so nervous I couldn’t sleep at all. I would say there should be a more direct line to front desk, to get some help. I had to dial a number, go through all the prompts to get to speak with someone. If needed, it’s a good value for your money. Just don’t get a room that has access from the outside. "

"This property is an older hotel. It was clean, but the rooms need some updating.There are no ports to charge your phone, so bring a block with you in order to charge devices. There is a desk in the room to work which was nice. The carpet in our room needed to be cleaned, but overall the room, bedding, towels, bathroom was clean. The main complaint that we had was that we paid for breakfast on the Expedia site. The first morning we did get our breakfast. We had bacon, eggs, fruit and toast and it tasted good. This hotel operates differently than most Holiday Inns in that your breakfast is cooked to order. The second morning, however, (Saturday) the cook did not show up and apparently they only have one, so breakfast was not available. This did not make us happy at all. On Sunday, we were going to eat breakfast before we left El Paso, but at 7:00 am, when it was supposed to be open, there was no one to cook breakfast. Again, not a happy customer. They really need to re-evaluate how they handle their "cook to order" breakfast and operate like most other hotels that offer breakfast. The breakfast is not free. You pay for it and we paid for it thru Expedia's site and the hotel did not deliver. Other than that, the hotel is adequate and I would recommend, but just eat breakfast elsewhere."

"Breakfast was good, although many items were gone by the time we got there. The room was average, the beds small and uncomfortable. The hot tub was not warm definitely not hot and the pool had murky water. Front desk attendant was friendly. The property definitely needs cleaning. Lobby, hallways were dirty with debris, carpets stained and unraveling in places. Will not be returning."

"Customer service people in the front were amazing, my room was great.Only problem was I found hair in the shower and poop.Smeared on the wall. The cleaning ladies started knocking on my door at 10am asked them for more time came back fifteen minutes later knocked again.So we just rushed to leave to check out, But check out was at 11. The pool was beautiful, but dang was a COLD. but overall it was great."

"Very nice hotel. Has everything you would need. Nice bar and lounge area. Rooms are very nice and the staff was pleasant. "

"Stayed here overnight for a birthday event and had dinner at their restaurant Mamacita’s as well. Service was overall good, the room was clean, AC worked perfectly. The rooftop bar area/pool scene is moderately classy but mellow at the same time and service there was awesome-we ordered champagne. They wanted to charge me for parking again upon checkout (parking attendant) even though I paid for it when I arrived. Included VIP parking for hotel guests and a small fridge in rooms would make this a perfect stay. The eclectic vibe and proximity to bars and restaurants is a big plus. "

"Rooms where half done. Tile grout in shower was done halfway and not done correctly. Numbers sequence was off, all over the place going from 178 to 198 and back to 180. Had me going around property several times around the whole property to find the right room. Room doors where damage and broken in this hotel was a disgrace and a big problem"
