Sinkflug

Bin schon lange in diesem Hotel und muss leider den "Niedergang" beobachten. Das Hotel wird nur noch abgewohnt und kein einziger Cent mehr investiert. Der Hauptfahrstuhl ist seit 1 1/2 Jahren ausser Betrieb :-( und wird wohl nie mehr repariert werden. Auch das Stamm-Personal dünnt immer mehr aus und es besteht eine hohe Fluktuation. Uns hat das Hotel sehr gut gefallen. Es war sehr sauber und das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war auch toll. Sehr verkehrsgünstig gelegen durch diw nahe S-Bahn. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder dort buchen.

The hotel and the rooms are perfectly ok. You do however miss the little attentions you find in other hotels/hotelrooms, such as a coffemachine in the room or in the lobby, or a sign in the hallway giving you directions to the rooms. I would however not hesitate to stay here again.

This hotel does not have air conditioning which is normal for the European hotels, but their outdoor bear garden is under the guest rooms and you cannot leave the windows open while people smoke under your window.

Grundsätzlich alles prima. Zimmer und Bad waren sauber. Wir fanden es im Zimmer recht warm, obwohl die Heizung aus war. Der Stuhl am Schreibtisch war stark verschlissen, könnte man mal austauschen.

Im Hotel viel zu warm, sowohl in den Gängen als auch in den Zimmern - nur bei weit aufgerissenen Fenstern zu ertragen. Vorsicht bei Zimmern zur Hauptstraße hin - selbst bei geschlossenen Fenstern sehr laut. Vor allem in der 1. Etage war es heftig.

Es hat uns sehr gefallen, dass zur Wahl (Umweltschutz!! super) stand, ob täglich das Zimmer gereinigt würde u. die Handtücher gewechselt würden.Und dazu noch ein Preisnachlass auf der Endabrechnung.

Die Begrüssung durch das Empfangspersonal war sehr herzlich. Auch weitere Fragen zu der Umgebung konnten zu meiner vollsten Zufriedenheit geklärt und beantwortet werden. Leider hatte ich selbst keine Möglichkeit das einladend gemütlich wirkende Lokal auszuprobieren auf Grund der mangelnden Zeit die ich bei diesem Aufenthalt zur Verfügung hatte. Ich denke ich komme gerne nocheinmal auf dieses Hotel zurück. Dankeschön!!!

Plus: Entfernung von Düsseldorf, Parkplätze Minus: zum Teil unfreundliche, nicht entgegenkommendes Rezeptionspersonal, vor allem am Telefon. Teppich uralt, Stuhl zerschlissen. Riesenspalt unter der Tür : jedeen Morgen ab 5.30 deshalb Rauchgestank von Bewohnern, die im Zimmer massiv geraucht haben müsse, mehrere Stunden bis 8,30. Fenster als Ausgleich nicht öffenbar, da ab 4.00 Straßenlärm. ( Zimmer 101, hatte ich nun schon 5 Nächte) . Die Dame am Telefon wollte mir schon 2 Wochen vorher jükeine verbindliche Auskunft geben, was die Lage und Ausstattung anbelangt. Sehr harte Matratze, zu dünnes und schmales Oberbett. Hatte extra Doppelzimmer zur Einzelbenutzung gebucht. Im Flur sehr laut, auch das Reinigungspersonal. Sicher zum Teil auch durch den Türspalt verursacht. Nehme deshalb an, dass deswegen auch (wie von mir) die Gespräche und Telefonate im Zimmer draußen verstanden wurden. Mag sein, dass Sie nur die schlechteren Zimmer in Ihrem Kontingent haben??!!!

Das Hotel liegt sehr verkehrsgünstig und hat ausreichend Parkplätze. Das Personal ist durchweg sehr freundlich -geradezu herzlich. Offenbar herrscht ein sehr gutes Betriebsklima. Die Doppel-Zimmer sind sehr groß, ebenso das Badezimmer. Das Frühstücks-Buffet bietet alles übliche und hervorragenden Kaffee. Angenehm ist die überschaubare Größe des Restaurants. Im UG ist eine sehr gemütliche Sauna.

Das Hotel ist sauber und günstig gelegen, um mit der S-Bahn nach Düsseldorf zu fahren. Das Bad ist angenehm hell und geräumig gewesen. Man könnte vielleicht mal in bessere Bettdecken investieren.

Wir waren soooo angenehm überrascht! Wir hatten ein hundefreundliches Hotel gesucht und es gefunden. Die Angestellten haben uns sehr gute Tips für Restaurant-Wahl und Fahrt zur Boots Messe nach Düsseldorf gegeben. Genügend kostenlose Parkplätze in der unmittelbaren Umgebung. Das Zimmer war mehr als geräumig: Schlafzimmer, 2 x WC, davon einmal Bad mit Badewanne. Sehr großer Wohnraum und ein Balkon. Das Frühstück war mit 12 Euro eher unterbezahlt- reichhaltiges Buffet. Immer gerne wieder!
