OK hotel

Very convenient hotel for the city. Comfort was as would be expected for a hotel of this style (Ibis) and at this price. A little noise from road traffic. Only issues was the A/C had broken and the shower water was either hot or very hot!

I only found out that the hotel's heating system was broken when I was already on my way to the elevator. It wasn't cold, as the weather was nice, but it was chilly at night.

Adequate hotel, but all the rooms are dated. The location is good, close to a Schwebebahn station only one stop away from the main train station.

Good Centrally Located Hotel

Good hotel centrally located in Wuppertal, 5 minute from the city centre, also 2 minute walk from Kluse station on the Schweberbahn (worth a ride for the sheer strangeness of it!) Check in was straight forward. The reception is not manned overnight - I was clumsy and lost my key card when reception was closed. However, a guest managed to resolve my issue by calling the contact centre and get me a temporary card. Breakfast has a decent range of items, including cheese, meats and pancakes. Room was a good size with decent air conditioning and the option of opening the window if I so wished. Bathroom was clean with plenty of towels provided: their policy is for guests to request additional linen rather than replace daily - very eco friendly. The only thing I could pick up on was a lack of coffee making facilities in the room. That aside, very satisfied customer here. I stayed 5 nights at around €65/night which feels like great value! Would stay again.

Das Zimmer war sauber und richtig ok, im Bad nur etwas gründlicher reinigen. Habe sehr gut geschlafen! Das Frühstück hat mir persönlich ausgereicht, hauptsache ich konnte mir Kaffee und Saft nachholen! Mir fehlte nur Brot zum Frühstück. Es wäre schön, wenn ihr den Frühstücksbereich mit einem Schild kennzeichnen würdet( vieleicht auch mit den Zeiten), dann ist es für Gäste einfacher zu finden bzw. ersichtlicher oder übersichtlicher! Zwischendurch die Tische reinigen wäre auch toll! Das Personal war durchweg freundlich! Ich würde wieder bei Euch buchen, vielen Dank
