Stay away from this property! I honestly don’t know how this lodge got its 4 stars. The way this lodge treats its guests is not worth even one star. We were given a shabby room, which clearly used to be a shed before. The parking space is so narrow that a taxi was asked to park within 30 cm from the door opening to our room, which implied that my family had to squeeze themselves through the opening. The management was immediately notified but ignored my wife’s request to move the taxi. Only when I arrived later and staff of the lodge saw that I could literally not squeeze through the small gap, the taxi was moved a few more centimetres. We paid for 3 nights and when we indicated that we would like to leave after only one night, we were promised to be refunded for the remaining two nights. However, after we left the crooks at this lodge refused to refund us and blamed us for not giving them an opportunity to fix their mistakes (even though we had given them timely opportunities to do so). Perhaps management should it take to heart that for first impressions and disrespecting guests there are no second changes, instead of blaming its guests for not wanting to address management’s shortcomings.
