I make a yearly trip up to Vancouver Island to spend a weekend with friends and I always book a stay at the Super 8 in Duncan. It’s a nice, budget friendly property with wonderful staff and good location. You’re halfway between Victoria and Nanaimo, so there’s a lot to see and do in either direction, not to mention all the things in the nearby area. I’m already looking forward to my next trip up and I’m always happy to stay at this location.

I wouldn't have chosen this motel but circumstances forced us to find a place to stay. That said, the staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean. Very basic breakfast

The property is in need of a very good update. The room we were in with a hot tub had one of the floor boards lifting which was a trip hazard, which we reported to the staff. The bed was comfortable.

The hotel does not look anywhere near like images on the website, Seem like its offers more of short and long term stays or like a soup kitchen of some sort. The outside of the hotel is poorly maintained no up keep. My room was not cleaned for the duration of my stay, they did give me fresh towels though when i asked. Staff was helpful on the hind side but it is not like any Super 8 i have stayed Thanks
