"Wonderful and welcoming "old school" motel on the Rockport/Rockland border. Beautiful trees and greenery insulate the property from the road noise of Route 1. Our room had a back porch looking out on trees and flowers. Friendly staff welcomed us, and greeted us again for our free and delicious breakfast on the breezy cool porch of the main house. My wife and I will stay here again on our next trip to Maine. Five Stars!"

"Staff were all so nice and helpful. Lovely lawn down to the harbor. Bed was too hard for me, but overall great place to stay. Restaurant next door is convenient, as was the bus to Acadia and other parts of the area."

"We loved the cabins and found them to be extremely clean and cute! The Bass Harbor Lighthouse is a short 15 minute walk from them as well. The host was very kind and knowledgeable about the island. We would stay here again!"

"This place is such a gem. Feels like the old school summer resorts from Dirty dancing but well appointed. Movie and pizza nights, great breakfast and truly a beautiful property to go for a hike, sit by the water or read a book on the porch. Loved this place and would definitely return."

Very peaceful with lovely sun room for continental breakfasts and outdoor patio for watching sunsets and frolicking seals. Close to Camden and waterfront restaurants. I hope to return again."

"Great place to stay. They really make you feel at home. My room needed a minor fix and they took care of it right away. My wife needed a soda and they found her one immediately. The inn is close to town and easy to get to. Wish our stay had been longer and will absolutely return if given the chance."

"This stop was intended as a stopover on the way up to Bar Harbor. It turned out to be the best accommodation of our trip. BEAUTIFUL vistas outside out room (114) and a spectacular property overlooking the bay. Wish we could have stayed for days. We spent the majority of our time on the extended room (porch) area watching the world go by. Staff was unfailingly friendly and the room itself was cozy and comfortable. A raging 5-star!"
