One of the 2 lifts was perpetually being repaired. The average waiting time for the lift was 20 min. Horrible! I took the stairs for my one week stay. Gym was big and well equipped, nonetheless.

Really liked my stay here. The room is good sized, comfortable and modern furnishings. Room with a balcony is very nice to have -- great view of the river. Location is close to the light rail train, so easy and quick to get to the city center. Bar/restaurant downstairs is very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

It was a nice hotel with the exception of two things. There was only one elevator operational for a 7 floor building. The other minor issue is that the rooms were a little dated. The hotel will require a refresh in the next couple of years.

The hotel was very nicce and the Staff was particularly nice. We stayed one night on a tour package and one night on our own. The breakfast was okay - I wish they could have started it a bit earlier in the morning as we didn't get breakfast one our last day; we needed to leave for the airport about the time breakfast started. Also, like most hotels in the UK and Ireland, the switch for the bathroom light is outside the bathroom, which makes it awkward when one person in a multi-person room needs to get up in the night to use the bathroom.

Lovely stay!

My mum and I were staying down for a musical and the Spencer was just perfect location for what we needed. The staff at check in were lovely and very helpful. Our room was very clean and tidy, the bathroom had lovely Rituals toiletries, a lovely surprise!! The only downside for us, was we couldn’t locate the hotel car parking so we ended up using a car park nearby, but not a major thing. Would definitely return to the Spencer!
