I stayed at the DCU All Hallows Campus dorms in Dublin and had a good experience overall with no complaints. It’s about a 30-minute bus ride into the city centre, which was very manageable. The area was quiet and felt peaceful, making it a nice place to relax after a day out. Breakfast vouchers were included, and the breakfast itself was good.
Totally wonderful experience. We loved the place - everything about it. The campus is beautiful. The rooms are really nice - extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent. Make sure to check out the chapel and the gardens. Quiet and peaceful - easy bus or Uber to the airport. Highly recommend.
We chose this hotel for the beautiful building and environment and was not disappointed. Our room were ok but they got very hot and were not super clean (chocolate on the floor, some dust on the towel rack and hairs from previous guests). The staff was very nice and helpful. Since we didn’t book this hotel to hang around at our room we were pleased anyway.
Beautiful campus and clean, quiet rooms. I had only one night before an early morning flight from DUB, so selected a small room with a shared bath. The facilities were all lovely and it would have been fine, except the person in the other room arrived around midnight, banging about and talking to a friend. I asked if they could keep it down, but apparently they couldn't until after their shower around 1 am (and on a Tuesday). Not sure if a room with private bath would have been any quieter - just something to be aware of. The bus to DUB was easy to access (but you do need coins), and the neighbourhood had lots of good options for dinner.
Fairly quiet basic accomedations located on a nice campus with lots of well kept grassy outdoor areas. Pretty good basic cafeteria style breakfast included. Because of our early flight we arrived before check in but we had lots of common areas inside and out to spend some time, and they stored our luggage. Close to bus routes that will get you to the airport or to the city centre in 15-20 minutes. Multiple grocery stores, small cafes, takeaway restaurants, and pubs nearby. Staff were helpful in answering our questions. Room was on the small side but comfortable and clean. Shared bathroom was clean, well maintained, stocked with shampoo & hand soap, and had a heated towel rack. A nice alternative to staying in the hustle and bustle of the city centre.
The greeting on arrival was good but although the paperwork said rooms available from 3pm the receptionist said it was 4pm so we couldn't access our rooms.
The rooms were clean and tidy, the bed comfortable and the shower good. Breakfast was included and there was ample choice of cooked or non-cooked items.
We were able to leave our bags after checking out and pick them up later in the day which was very good.
