Matthew is a wonderful host, and we felt welcome in his home. The breakfast offerings were top notch, and our room and bed were so comfortable. We had a room with a balcony and the views are out of this world. The boat trip on Ross Ryan’s boat The Sgarbh was incredible. We saw seals and Sea Eagles and sailed around the islands. This hotel is a true Scottish gem!」

「We stayed in the sauna room which was recently refurbished, staff were incredibly rude and inattentive, food was microwaved ready meal at best. The room itself was fine, shower was broken. The sauna was nice although it smelled incredibly unclean. I definitely would not recommend staying here. 0 atmosphere either. Also the hot tub was broken which was not communicated to us until we arrived honestly AVOID.」

「Lovely views of Loch Awe. The driver wasn’t so happy about the long single track road but the other two enjoyed the solitude and quiet at the end of the road. Rooms are comfortable and all different.」
