「Tout était parfait, l’accueil la chambre, la salle de bain nickel. J’aurais apprécié des œufs brouillés au petit déjeuner plutôt que des œufs durs, froids. Le jambon dans la boîte Tupperware, pas très pratique à se servir et quelques fourchettes à disposition aurait été appréciées 」

「Nicely appointed renovated home. Had two dinners with guests that the proprietors made. Def would suggest enjoying the company and food. We had car trouble, and Marcel offered to take us to Hertz in Saumur. Acted as tour guide, chauffeur, and interpreter for us in Chinon as well as Saumur. Lovely area. 」

「We very much enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very friendly and were such a pleasure to visit with. The grounds are very well kept and the home absolutely beautiful The breakfast was amazing as well (loved the fresh figs) as was the room. Great spot!」

「Séjour d’un soir lors d’un déplacement pro. Les employés de l’hôtel sont très conviviaux, ambiance chaleureuse. Le site dispose d’un hôtel et d’un bar et il est possible de commander chez des restaurants de proximité. Le petit déjeuner est complet. Je reviendrai. 」

「Comfortable beds and rooms. Looks like everything was recently renovated. Breakfast was well done with a surprising amount of choices, and the breakfast room was pretty. Just a couple minutes from the chateau and easy parking. 」

「The room itself was fine, spacious and clean. The staff were lovely, and the bar facilities at the sister ‘Style’ hotel next door was a nice addition. Plenty of parking. However the lack of flexibility with the room heating meant no option to switch it off and it was boiling, even on the lowest setting. so I couldn’t sleep and my dogs drank 2 bowls of water in the night! Opening the window did help as it was -4 outside. I wouldn’t stay again for that reason, but otherwise it’s a good budget...
