Friendly efficient staff, excellent breakfast choices, the Spa was quiet and nice. Room was excellent- it has a slightly faded grandeur and character which I like.
This place is a story book stay. We loved our stay there. The staff was a little inexperienced but very attentive and made an amazing effort to cater your needs.
Great stay for one night on a roadtrip through Europe. We loved it, our dog included. We were able to charge our electric car and our dog was allowed in the restaurant and at breakfast. Perfect!
We loved the room we had, and it was such a beautiful property. The staff were really nice and very helpful. The restaurant was good but on the pricey end so we only ate there one night.

Great Hotel but urgently needs refurbishment.
Absolutely amazing hotel with a wonderful restaurant and friendly staff, but the rooms are outdated and in urgent need of refurbishment and investment with the grounds to return the building to its former glory.
Stunning and luxurious château . The staff were cheerful and welcoming, dignified and professional without being stiff. The food was fabulous but it would have been nice to have a few more options at dinner especially if were staying more than two nights.
Winston and Arthur (dog and horse on the property) were definite highlights for us. Winston is the just the sweetest boy and Arthur is quite funny.
You probably want to hear about the property—immaculately clean with an excellent (human) host. Breakfast was a delight each morning. Plan your other meals ahead of time as the area is rather remote with a few options within a 15-20 minute drive. Otherwise it’s a very relaxing country getaway with little concern for the outside world. Absolutely lovely.
Loved the Chateau! Great staff. Yes, its a little shabby around the edges (but can you imagine the costs to upkeep this building!). It has a lovely charm, the views from the terrace are absolutely stunning. Our room was huge, with a lovely balcony. We enjoyed sitting around the pool. There are tennis courts and also a spa (we didn't use, so can't comment on them). The restaurant is great and we had a wonderful supper the first night, but the only issue is that its a bit too expensive to eat there every night - so a cheaper alternative would have been good. We went into the local town for subsequent meals, which wasn't far.
A lovely relaxing stay, in a beautiful hotel. Would definitely recommend.
Disappointed with the interior of the hotel in particular the bedrooms. The room we stayed in No 1 had a bad smell of drains.
Our daughters room No 12 bathroom facilities were small in particular the toilet.
The waitress that served us for dinner breakfast and lunch was very good. The food was nice but more options would have been appreciated
Good hotel and probaby worthy of its 5* rating but it wasn't quite there for me. The rooms in the annex are very small due to architectural constraints so access to both sides of the bed is pretty much impossible. The food was of a high standard, as was the service but the cleanliness of the restaurant was not so good (the cereal I spilt on the floor one morning was still there the next!) and there was a slight issue regarding the bill that we didn't realise until after we'd left.
The leisure facilities were good, the outside pool was clean and the spa well maintained. I would certainly return and recommend but it's still more 4½* rather than 5*
The place was clean & impressive, though perhaps slightly faded. Lots of space & easy parking. All staff were fantastic towards us, especially the sommelier, Karim.
Stairs perhaps a bit complicated.
Very inpressive and lovely property. The staff was gracious and welcoming. The location is convenient to visiting wineries and other historic chateaus.
