「Stayed one night when attending a wedding in the castle. Can only recommend on my visit. Looked after by Cathy from arrival until breakfast next morning. Had dinner at Crown hotel a few mins from hotel and 10% discount on food was applied for hotel guests. Mind flash the key fob to let them know before the bill is on table. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast was served and tea/ coffee top ups were no trouble if asked for. Recommend the Kirkstyle if staying in the area.」

「Lovely old hotel. Staff could not have been more helpful which is what would make me return. Food was very good but I felt quite pricey for certain items. Room was quite small for two sharing but we had everything we needed. Slippers and robes were a nice touch as were the biscuits. Coffee at breakfast was lovely. Shower tray was lethal, very slippy and I would recommend some sort of grippers be put down. A fridge to keep water bottles cold would have been appreciated especially as it...

「Having parking was a huge benefit, the high street does get busy so knowing it wasn't going to be an issue is great. The breakfast was lovely, nice amount of choice and the full cooked breakfast was huge! We didn't get a chance to have a coffee in the cafe but the homemade cakes and biscuits looked delicious. Check in and check out was smooth and quick. We were in room 86 and the windowsill needs a bit of maintenance and the room could do with a freshen up but the room was clean and the bed...

「After a long journey we were so pleased to stay at this B&B, we received a warm welcome, the building is beautiful with lovely views and our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable.
