Lovely hotel in a very beautiful setting . The delux room was large, clean and very comfortable with an amazing river view. We found the restaurant food mixed but it was very convenient. Steak pie was the best meal we had. Bar was small but cosy with good service . We didn’t use the pool but it looked nice too. Overall a great stay and we will be back .

Lovely hotel in historic old mill building. Parking close to hotel entrance. Very modern inside. Great room with fantastic view down the river. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant evening meal was adequate and fairly priced, breakfast was plentiful, good quality and included in rate.Loads to do in the surrounding area without getting back in the car. Don't forget that you are in an important World Heritage site.

Our stay included a basic, but good sized room, at a good rate, with a beautiful view over the river. Check in staff were friendly and helpful. Bathroom was clean and the bed comfortable enough. Our main complaint was the standard of the food in the restaurant. Waiting, and bar staff, looked universally miserable and service was extremely slow, even when there were few occupied tables (with the notable exception of the woman at breakfast, who was friendly and efficient). The food was of poor standard throughout and I would not recommend anything we ordered. I would happily stay at the hotel again, but would advise the hotel to look at the museum cafe next door as an example of efficient, friendly, service with decent food.

Great location, very friendly staff throughout; very good restaurant albeit not a Michelin star. Still lacks an EV charging point(s); the pool was unacceptably cold sadly

Loved staying at the New Lanark Mill Hotel. Not your average hotel, the historic accommodations are clean, comfortable and the only place I've stayed with a river right outside my bedroom window, just the right amount of white noise to lull me to sleep. Went for a couple of hikes as the weather was sunny and beautiful. Enjoyed the waterfalls, exploring the burial ground and the surrounding areas. Also enjoyed the self-guided tours through the old mills and living quarters. Dining was excellent, the staff was helpful and friendly, check-in and out was simple. Highly recommend!
