The advertising blurb stated that the staff spoke English. They didn't. We managed to communicate via translator apps. Every day of my stay, the staff informed me that I owed them money for my room. The amounts varied from day to day, but as I'd already paid through Expedia, getting the message across was difficult. So I just ended up smiling and nodding. The hotel was clean. Lots of building works going on. Also, the area is quite nice but a fair way away from Ningbo town centre. Which is fine. The Ningbo railway station is a typical nightmare. I would probably stay again at the hotel. The rooms were new and clean but I'd have preferred a view of the area. My room had a view of the building next door. I've had worse and the price was pretty decent.

This is my 2nd stay at Nostalgia S hotel. For travelling it’s super close only 200 metres from the metro station. Line 5 station name Jiangcheng road exit E onto South Hefang street. It only takes 25 minutes to the main Hangzhou dong (East) railway station or 45 minutes directly to the Airport station ...
