「quirky little B&B in Chard centre. Very quiet town - only arrive din teh evening and left straight after breakfast - which wa svery very nice. James and his wife were very welcoming and friendly. Get there before 10pm if your'e travelling from afar - its' not 24hr check in . Ithink I had a single occupancy room - it was very clean and enough room - bathroom was compact!」

「Busy pub and there was only one member of staff working so we waited with our bags at the bar until a big order of drinks had been dealt with. The room was very comfortable, a couple of hairs in the sink. Decorated nicely with antiques. No sugar or milk in the room but we asked for some at the bar downstairs. 「Easy check in, we'd been before and were familiar with arrangements. Staff remembered us and were friendly. Room clean, stairs steep and narrow, fortunately we didn't have a lot of luggage. Breakfast freshly made and excellent. Full bar services available. Car parking is an issue, chargeable car parks around, limited free parking if you know where to go and prepared to walk.

「This is a really fabulous small hotel. The mostly young staff are wonderful and have really good customer service skills. The room we had was large and warm and really nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable with sufficient pillows and some nice cushions.It was apparent that thought had been put in to all aspects of our stay.
