The room was very clean but the air con dripped a lot creating pools of water on the floor and the bathroom was incredible hot and humid as it has a vent to the outdoors and a heavy door so the aircon can’t flow in. 「The place is difficult to find, after booking they should send an email with a map to get there. The room is basic but clean. Good size room and bathroom. There is a fan but not a/c and during the night it is quite hot. Only cold water. There is a mosquito net but it is too short so mosquitoes get in the sleeping area. 「The hotel itself is mostly fine, with a good location and a nice view. The staff, however, were the worst among our eight stays in Sri Lanka. They weren’t friendly or helpful and had a clear “what do you want” attitude. They even woke us at 10 p.m. to ask what breakfast we wanted, which is unacceptable.
