We had to stay overnight near Geneva airport unexpectedly after an incident shut the airport and choose the Domaine d Divonne. They were welcoming and friendly. In the morning we were having real problems getting a taxi back to the airport and Bruno on reception was brilliant. He phoned around taxi companies, other employees etc and managed to get us a taxi when it looked like we might miss our rescheduled flight. Excellent service, thank you

Oasis in Divonne
wonderful step into the past but with everything you need to have a beautiful stay. Summer evenings at the pool after a long day is definitely a plus. Staff very friendly and very attentive

A wonderful property and very relaxing site. Gorgeous grounds, beautiful pool and very helpful staff. I would rate this hotel as five stars if the floor covering in the rooms and w.c. were upgraded. Our room had a big balcony with a view of the Mont Blanc. Divonne is a spa town and this hotel is within walking distance to all the amenities. I look forward to returning and would definitely stay at this hotel. The beds are comfortable and the linens fresh. The whole two stay was super!

Nice but could be so much more
Was hoping for more from this hotel. Overall I think this place is in need of some strategic updating, improve the materials and function without losing the old world charm. Negatives : The elevators are tiny and very slow. The room was hot and the a/c was worthless. The outside air was cool so we ended up opening the windows every night to cool the room down. This was done at the risk of exposing ourselves to anything that can fly or crawl though, as none of the windows had screens. Overall the decor was dark and old. The carpets were stained and in need of changing...we wore our slippers whenever our shoes weren’t on. The bed was pretty bad. 2 twin mattresses alongside each other that they were calling a King. I might’ve let that slide had they been comfortable but they were the thinnest mattresses I have ever been on and offered no supportive structure at all. Any amount of weight caused them to completely compress. Positives: Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location, building and space were all great. Nice balcony with our room, where we enjoyed their excellent quality room service food. Best room service scrambled eggs for breakfast. I can really see this property shining with right investment of quality materials and updating. Possibly listed on SPG/Marriott’s Luxury Hotel Collection. I really hope they give this hotel the love that it needs and deserves. It’s in a great location and has the space to really be a great resort.

A big old hotel in a park just next tobthe Casino and clearly priced and designed for it. Staff to the minimum though quite friendly. Nithing really to complain about but not my favorite place, lack of warmth in the atmosphere maybe.

Fantastic art deco hotel attached to the casino.
Amazing hotel attached to the casino. The state rooms, lounges, dining rooms, bars , restaurants were decorated in a more opulent time & are unbelievable. Set in beautiful grounds with swimming pool. Sadly the bedrooms are in urgent need of renovation/decoration. But saying this, I wouldn't have missed our stay, pure luxury. Breakfast prices excessive.

The air conditioning was so hot. They fix it when im in. The room service so bad because they don’t have enough staff. The deluxe rooms is not a same size because some of it with 2 toilets and one toilet. The rooms with one toilet is bigger

Beautiful, tranquil hotel in heart of Divonne
This hotel is really amazing. Art Deco-esque. It is really spacious and has a very very calm and tranquil feel about it. I got a really cheap deal, ca 100 euros per night, however the room was perfect. The decor is amazing, super neat tidy and clean, with everything you need, we had a balcony overlooking the beautiful trees at the front of the hotel, and overlooking the Jura. The staff was always very friendly and helpul. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel and will definitely stay again. i ate in the Magique restaurant and the games room restaurant, and the food and wine were amazing. Most excellent!

Unfortunately we stayed on the weekend of a French poker competition. Our neighbors were players, very loud at all times until the very early hours and smoke from their cigarettes wafting into our room, resulting in very little sleep for either of us. We highly recommend the Indian restaurant and the Moroccan/Lebanese restaurant in he town. Sunday morning stroll through the street market was lovekybtoo.

Lovely hotel with a lot of character
This is my second time in this beautiful hotel. This time however I went with my wife for our anniversary. The hotel is full of character and the staff are always keen to help. It's a small spa town on the border between France and Switzerland. Perfect for a weekend break for couples.

Classic, Chic Hotel is a Gem find !
This hotel has charm, class and must have cost a fortune when built. If you're looking for modern ultra clean and fully of electronic gadgets it's not for you. It's an Art Deco gem

This hotel looks like it hasn't been renovated since the 70's when it might have known its golden age! Outdated decoration, furniture, rooms, bathrooms... Even surprised to see flat screens TVs but then again this is easy to change...

Some client service issues.
Overall the Hotel is good in term of rooms, location, and other facilities. The only thing that needs improvement is the front desk reception area they need to be more professional on handling the client complaint as I faced for example there was problem with hot water for two days with out any official notice or apology. Another exampel : room service took the complimentary water before I drink it as well my own fruits I bought from outside the hotel , I complained to the reception desk and no real action has been taken from them. until I reached the Manager of the hotel rooms he was very helpful and he solved the problem.

Don't book for the spa
We booked this hotel relatively close to the GVA airport and decided to pay more to have a spa with jacuzzi, sauna pm and hamam. We used it at 8:30 pm and discovered at 9:00 pm the both the sauna and hamam where cold. When we got back to the room sand called the front desk they said they would "turn on the heat in both." By the. It was too late to go back to the spa because of an early morning flight. Inexcusable for a 133 bed hotel. It also wreaked of mildew. And the carpets in the "comfy" from hallways were well worn. Room was clean and a comfortable bed.

Quiet Hotel, beautiful area
I like the hotel in general, its old styling design and a very quiet rooms and the helpful and cooperative staff. I stayed at a Comfort Double Room with a king size bed and balcony has a good view to the street. Hotel is connected to the Casino that also has inside restaurant. but, i'm highly recommending the small Bar food since they have an extended and Varied menu than the Casino's restaurant. the most greatest thing in this hotel is the very fast and competent wi-fi connection.

Cozy and Comforting - I would consider it as the best option in the area. Classy design - Breakfast however had a very poor selection of food.
