"Splendid from start to finish! Friendly and attentive staff (each and every person we met across all areas had a very high standard of service) - super welcoming to dogs - tasty, quality food and drink (including a great quality, extensive breakfast offer) - bar with a nice vibe - beautiful grounds - excellent facilities. Room was clean and had good amenities. Excellent parking (with charging points). We will return!"

"It's clean and cheap, perfectly good for a one-night stay. Tiny room with barely enough room to walk around the bed. Funky hooks but no real storage. I've stayed here a couple of times before and I know what to expect. My main gripe on this occasion was how an overnight fire alarm was dealt with. We all traipsed downstairs when the alarm went off, the member of staff on duty told us it was ok, we could all go back to bed but the alarm might go off again. He explained that there was someone live streaming themself "messing around with fire" in their room. Security were in the process of tracking them down and chucking them out. I have no idea what kind of "messing around with fire" we're talking about here, but to me that is not a circumstance in which guests should be sent back to bed and encouraged to ignore the alarm."

"The property could do with some tlc especially the clubhouse The coffee table in our room was damaged and needs replacing The pool is nice and the steam room and sauna were also good except there were a lot of children when we went, nothing wrong with that but the steam room and sauna clearly says nobody under the age of 16. If you have signs up they should make sure under 16s do not use these it did spoil our experience as lots of children in and out of these facilities. Breakfast was very busy we had to wait a while for sausages and bacon to appear a little annoying as other food on our plate got cold while waiting, they knew it was going to busy so should have been more prepared but when we did eat it it was a good Staff excellent and friendly "

"Hotel and staff are fab this is my 3rd stay within months and it’s now a firm fav, what makes this hotel is the nice clean rooms but mostly the brilliant staff they cannot do enough for you, they treat you like a friend, polite cheery and knowledgeable. The brekkie is a buffet style vegan sausages to order should you want them, scrambled eggs mushrooms sausages bacon beans hash browns and hot porridge, lots of cold foods and the bread selection is great. Just what you need to start the day. Easy to have food delivered in from local shops should you need too but the food in the hotel for evening meal is nice and fairly priced."

"The welcome we received at check in was probably the best welcome ever at a hotel. Our room was squeaky clean and we had a gorgeous relaxing view over the golf course. We ate in the onsite restaurant one evening, sensibly priced and great food, again the staff were exceptional. We loved the use of the pool and its other facilities. All in all it was a fabulous stay, we hope to visit again."
