"I loved the fact that my room had a 2 door frig/freezer, a sink & a glass top 2burner stovetop plus a top of the line microwave. The towels were exceptionally clean and fluffy. The one thing that matters the most is that it was clean and DID NOT HAVE BEDBUGS! Thank you so much Budget Host keep up the amazing job you & your staff are doing! 👍"

"I appreciated the positive nature of the owner and his willingness to answer my questions and to assure I had as good stay. The facilities are a little tired and in need of an upgrade, but everything worked as it should, the room was pretty clean, and the rates were the fairest around. Plus if you like to walk, you can access many of Abilene’s coolest spots from the Diamond Motel. I would definitely stay here again. I usually stay at hotels near I70, but there’s not a lot to walk to from there....

"The motel is listed for having “free breakfast “ when in fact it does not. The check in process was time consuming due to no one working the front desk. The room was clean and quiet. "

"This is not a hotel you want to take your wife to. It is okay for a man on his own but it did not meet my expectations. The staff was friendly. Check in was slow and tedious since I had booked through Hotels.com. The total cost was more than quoted because they charged a service fee for using a credit card. The room itself was clean but the carpet was dirty and the sheets were dirty on one of the two beds. We were supposed to have a room with a queen bed. "

"If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is definitely the place. Showers have great pressure. Clean. But...no frills. No hair dryer or coffee maker. Toilets clean, but there is a plumbing problem with flushing. The water pressure is not working well with the toilets, upgrade is needed so that customer experience is brought up, because the potential here is a Great Stay for those looking for a unique and very interesting historical town!!!!"
