Lovely spot in pretty McLeod Ganj

Great place to stay in a beautiful spot. Right in the centre but just off the main strip to ensure it’s not too busy and noisy. Lovely rooms, balcony view of the mountain was spectacular, especially at sunset

I was unwell when I arrived and felt cold. The hotel kindly supplied me with an electric fan. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with beautiful views of the mountains. The bed was very comfortable with extra blanket in the cupboard. I did find it odd that the top sheet was brought to my room separately, along with loo paper, and the bed was not made up. The shower was powerful and plenty of hot water. Soap and shampoo were provided in individual packets. Not very eco friendly. The hotel was a few minutes walk from the centre but quite a steep road. However, it was very quiet and peaceful. A good stay.

Central Hotel.

The Hotel is close to the main square ,shops restaurants and attractions. I originally booked the standard room but opted to pay for an upgrade as the room was a little too basic and a flight of steep steps had to be negotiated to reach the room as the Hotel unfortunately does not possess a lift. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and even managed to provide me with complementary test cricket tickets. Breakfast was off the menu and had a choice of eggs, porridge, Etc the restaurant has great views of the Himalayas. We enjoyed our stay and would use again. Dave and Sally, Yorks.

Room and staff were good. Amenities were provided but was not upto standards, for ex the towel were dirty. The quilt provided was dirty. The bed was very loose as in it gets separated from middle very easily.
