「这个地方真的太漂亮了，到处都可以见到松鼠，早上还有猴子在树上和地上走，傍晚的时候可以看到成群的巨型蝙蝠，晚上还会有很多的萤火虫，非常的安静，很适合度假养生，美中不足的是房间没有电视也没有WIFE，基本上住客们晚上9点多就睡觉，早上5点起来去练瑜珈」

「We had amazing stay at Ubuntu. From manager to housekeeping all staffs were helpful. This place puts customer service above all. Shout out to Vishaw, Indika and kitchen staff for going above and beyond. Besides great staff, hotel is located at quaint beach where you can spot turtles at night. They even had baby turtle releasing event in the evening. Overall I highly recommend this boutique hotel. We had great experience. 」

「I loved everything about this place- quiet, a short pleasant walk to town center, incredible breakfast and cafe vibes (and music!), electricity was better here than in other places I've stayed, AC worked well, nice patio, big bed and bathroom. As a solo female traveler I felt safe. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, arrange rides, etc. BOHOMA STUTHI!!!」

「Stayed for two weeks in September 2023. For starters, the host family at Talalla Freedom are wonderful. Helpful, friendly, adjusted to my food allergies, went over and beyond. Rs 250 for a pot of fresh tea. The pool is lovely and well kept, the view and access to Talalla beach is phenomenal (as long as you don't have any mobility issues. Beds are Sri Lanka firm but comfy. You can sit in a nice recliner with your tea and watch the monkeys walk by. The birds in the area are beautiful. Be aware...

「The place is difficult to find, after booking they should send an email with a map to get there. The room is basic but clean. Good size room and bathroom. There is a fan but not a/c and during the night it is quite hot. Only cold water. There is a mosquito net but it is too short so mosquitoes get in the sleeping area. Basic breakfast with bread, jam, bananas and tea. They could provide sri Lankan breakfast if requested. It is possible to use a sort of sun bed provided at the first...

「Such a lovely hotel located right on the beach, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to be slightly outside of Hiriketiya. Due to its location it is very quiet and peaceful. There are sun loungers on the beach as well as by the pool. It is super easy to get into the main town by tuktuk or a 30 minute walk. The staff are lovely and so attentive if you need a bite to eat I would recommend their pizza which are delicious. We loved our stay here and would 100% come back! 」
