"We’ve stayed at other hotels in Fargo and have always liked this one best. The only thing we won’t go to again is your bar. The bartender was nice, Laura, but the guests at the bar were rather odd. We will try the vfw or the legion next time. Also a single drink and a beer for $14, $16 with tip was a bit steep. Otherwise, we loved our room, bed, etc. we will definately be back!!"

"This property has been redone top to bottom. It is beautiful and in the perfect Detroit Lakes location. They are redoing the road in front of the lake to make it even more friendly to visitors. The lake is the view from pretty much every room of Beach Haven. You are steps from amazing food. Drinks and patios with Zorbaz, Lakeside and Hub 41 next to this property. They have shuffleboard out front and corn hole to play. They will soon have a small cafe in the front office. Dogs are welcome in Beach Haven and on the patios of all the near restaurants. The park just down the road is home to one of the many trolls! Great place to stay close to downtown and great parks and trails/sidewalks for your pup. "
