Anyways, check-in staff were lethargic with zero smiles or welcoming nature (someone needs to remind them that they work in hospitality). This is an old-school type homely resort with so much to offer. Great location. Great activities. Amazing heated pools - especially at this time of year! Excellent for families - would most definitely return. 」

「This was an outstanding experience. The lodge has a stunning location perched on a cliff overlooking the river below. Our room was utterly delightful, Angelo’s cooking amazing and Pemba’s game drives literally stunning. Great , great game viewing.」

「The room was very clean and the grounds were stunning. The old colonial style in the bar and restaurant with all of the history attached to it are characterful. The staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms are a little tired in places but that does not detract from the ambiance. 」

「Esme, Andrew & Conny’s hospitality was amazing! We stayed for 5 nights in 2 different rooms, the standard room then the Luxury cave suite (both were great but the cave suite is out of this world! Jason, the chef is so passionate about food & that really comes through in the meals, the food here is truly lovely. All staff were so friendly & the local tips provided by Andrew set us up to ensure our time was spent perfectly whilst staying in Drakensberg. The farm has loads of cute animals,...

「My family and I enjoyed our time at this resort. The food was well served and delicious and fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful. We loved the location very central to all the local spots. My daughter enjoyed the pool and putt. We will be back. 」
