"It’s hard to say what the most important thing is for a hotel stay. Is it 1) the property and room, 2) the food or 3) the staff? Well, it doesn’t matter with this property cause you’re winning on all 3. Quiet location at the end of summer/beginning of autumn, room size was good, room was clean, bed was fairly comfortable, bedding was great (the best pillows of the 8 hotels I’ve stayed in Japan). "It was a cozy place but very old. Staff was extremely polite and hospitality was beyond expectations and caring. "

"Minakamikan is a great place to Stay, Clean and bright interior. Onsen was very nice, rooms have been keep in top shape, with new fresh tatami mats, clean walls, etc. Buffett breakfast had a lot of choices, Japanese and some western items. Wi-Fi in lobby only. free transport to and from Minakami station can be arranged."
