「The Funken Lodge has to be one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. From the location to the staff in all areas of the hotel you couldn't fault it. The hotel was execptionally clean, the public areas and the rooms alike. There were plenty of quiet areas if you didn't want to sit in the main bar area, not that it was ever rowdy. 「Excellent experience in Mary-Ann's Porarrigs hotel, i booked the single room, think it's worth the price, the breakfast is very very good to be honest, i like the living room there, nice and comfortable.

「Staff was very hospitable and the surroundings were serene. However the location is slightly far away from the town centre. Without any transport, at least 30 minutes of walk is needed to get to the town centre」
