"It is a short ride from the airport. It is located not far from the Strip. The resort is quiet with a lovely beach. The property is well maintained. I did have one issue. The floor in our room was visibly dirty when we arrived. I waited two day for it to be cleaned. It was not. I had go to the front desk & ask for it to be cleaned. The room was well cleaned for three days. On our last day they dropped the ball. The room was not cleaned. Bed was never made up, nothing restocked, no clean towels....

"Nisbet is on a former sugar plantation and buttresses the Atlantic. The grounds and rooms are well-maintained. It’s very laid back, an older crowd, except for the lively Thursday night barbecue on the beach. Outsiders come to Nisbet and live music is offered. Dinner food is fair, although quite good at the barbecue. Breakfast and lunch are pretty good, but with limited menus. Overall, a very relaxing vacation, but it is best to go off grounds for other experiences and restaurants."

"If you are looking for a place to detach this is it for sure. The cabin was great and the personal infinity pool was fantastic (but not heated) and the view was amazing. Some downsides were the bathroom being completely outside making nighttime urinations interesting. Not much hot water so use sparingly and not enough for us to fill the tub. No TVs but there is a projector with Netflix which was a nice touch but the volume wasn’t great and even at full volume we still needed the closed...

"Lovely hotel, beautiful beach, excellent restaurant on site. Excellent room, but no elevators. Staff is nice as are all the people of this lovely, rural island. I would have appreciated more assistance with activities, rather than an invite to hear about how to buy a condo there. Cons: No reliable public transportation suitable for tourism. If you don’t drive (you must drive on the left) or rent a car you must take a taxi, which is very expensive. Off property, there are no sidewalks other...

"The hotel is next to Port Zante and all the tourists stores for the cruise ships. Good downtown location. Two minute walk to the Ram's large grocery store. My room was large and all the rooms come with a mini kitchen. It was stocked with dishes, glasses, pans, knives, silverware, electric stove, large fridge. The AC is in the ceiling, quiet, and it kept the room cold. My room faced the main street, Bay Road. But, with the windows closed it was quiet. I think it's the best downtown Basseterre hotel. "
