"Loved the cottage! Everything was as stated in the property description and the cottage is decorated very nicely and very clean. Unfortunately, there was severe weather and we had to delay our trip a day. When I asked if we'd be able to get a refund for one day, I got no response from the property manager. "The room was spacious and clean. It was great having a full-size refrigerator in the room. There are no room darkening curtains, just blinds that are about 3” short for the window, allowing in a significant amount of light. The bathroom light comes on automatically when entering the room and is very bright - a little jarring for middle of the night trips. The laundry basket in the room was very helpful and the laundry facilities were very nice but be prepared to pay a surcharge if using a debit/credit card rather than their app to pay for use of the washer and dryer. Upon arrival I was surprised to find that there are no automatic doors to enter the lobby. I am spoiled from other hotel stays. That does make it a little more difficult to carry in luggage but there are buttons for handicap access. It took a while for a staff member to come to the check in desk, although I had seen her walk across a doorway to an adjacent room a few times and rang the bell a few times as well. I was immediately told that check in was at 3 pm until the staff person looked at the clock and saw that it was indeed after 3 pm. Although she was not sure if there were rooms ready she was able to find me one in the end."
