"We stayed for 2 nights, it was good value for money. This resort is located in the jungle so you can enjoy peaceful environment. Very close to orangutan and sunbear sanctuary. Breakfast options are very limited. Some things could be improved for example notice about renovation taking place in the resort, we touched few times freshly painted barrier and had problem to remove it from the body, there was no sign about that which was a bit annoying. "For the area of Sandakan that this hotel is in this is a pretty good option if you really have to stay here! I would not recommend the area at all. The staff here were very attentive and friendly. The room was adequate but the pillows were horrendous! Just lumpy lumps of hard sponge! The shower and sink use a pump system which was not smooth at all and you either had a ‘power’ shower or a trickle. The hotel is near the Central Market, Harbour Mall & the promenade plus local shops but don’t get...
