「The house was nice enough. That wasn't the problem. The ad was misleading. We were 1.5 miles from the indoor and outdoor pools. There were no walking paths or sidewalks to the pool. The lake was not Lake Lure and we were also over a mile from it as well. The amenities were charged per person and we were charged for 3 full days even though we arrived after pool closing and had to check out by 10 on Monday. Pretty disappointed overall. Won't stay there again.」

「Ask for a room you want and which side. The room had a musty smell until we turned on the AC. Suggested they turn the AC on before guests arrive. Also the bathroom floor in the handicap room was like a skating rink.」

「An amazing stay in the beautifully quiet Blue Ridge mountains. Picturesque Lake Lure is only a short stroll away. Chef Richard prepares a wonderful gourmet breakfast each morning and this definitely not your basic B&B but all at very reasonable prices. Thank you all. I cant’t wait to return.」
