Rottweil is a town in southwest Germany in the state of Baden-Württemberg. Rottweil was a Free Imperial City for nearly 600 years.

Located between the Black Forest and the Swabian Alps. The old town is famous for its medieval center and for its traditional carnival. It is the oldest town in Baden-Württemberg and its appearance has changed very little since the 16th century.

"Leider war mein Aufenthalt sehr enttäuschend. Das Hotel wirkte unorganisiert, das Geschirr beim Frühstück war nicht sauber und das Frühstück selbst war chaotisch und lieblos. An der Rezeption war kaum Personal vorhanden, und der allgemeine Service ließ stark zu wünschen übrig. Insgesamt entsprach das Hotel in keiner Weise dem Standard, den man erwarten darf."

"Conveniently located within walking distance to the train station. Room was clean and comfortable. I didn't like that the smoking area is right at the front entrance. A couple of times, I had to wiggle my way into the lobby through all the smokers. My room was just above the entrance, so I could not open the windows, otherwise all the smoke would get in. Other than that, its an affordable/conveniente/clean place to stay."

"A quiet, fairly residential location meant we weren't quite sure what to expect from this hotel. We were delighted. The room was the usual size but well appointed with a great powerful shower and unusually a heat lamp to help you stay cosy while getting dried! We ate in the restaurant and the food was enjoyable. Breakfast had a good selection of items too. We used the garage to park our cycles and the racks were easy to access and seemed secure. The town centre wasn't too far away and there was nice parkland nearby for walks."
