「First, I almost never leave negative reviews. It's not in my nature. And, importantly, hotel staff were awesome, friendly, and salt of the earth. Every interaction with them was positive. Also, the attached restaurant (not owned by the hotel) was great. We thoroughly enjoyed the free breakfast daily. The room condition, however, was shabby and dirty, despite being in the renovated section of the hotel. We had to keep the entry light off because it flickered nonstop. My white socks turned dark...

「The grounds and ambieance were excellent beyond expectatyions and the staf were extremely friendly. But, there was no hot water. And when we reported that, the answer was that they had been having probelms with hot water in the hiostoric rooms -- ours was a historic room, namely room 19.; They did absolutely nothing to resolve the problem and we ended up having to take ice cold showers. If they knew that there had been problems, why did they place us in that room? I also noticed...
