「My second visit and an absolute treat. We were made to very feel welcome, the rooms were spotlessly clean and well appointed. An amazing breakfast included so much home made produce. Thank you so much for an amazing stay, and I will be back!」

「Very pleasant, clean and low stress place to stay while hiking the caminho. A little off the caminho trail but there is a well maintained hike and bike path from the center of Valença that will take you right to Alma Candida. Breakfast is very good too. 」

「Great location. Elevator was not working more than it was working. Asked if I could give them my stamped postcards so the postcards could be put in with the regular hotel mail and was told, “not possible, we don’t do that” - and I am fluent in Portuguese. Have been to many countries and this was the first time I was told my stamped postcards couldn’t be included with normal hotel mail.」
