「This is a lovely hotel. I debated whether to give 4 or 5 stars. There are a couple of quirky things though: 1) When turning out the lights at night in the room, it’s like lighting up a Christmas tree - everything has blue, red or green lights — the TV, the phone, the thermostat, the CO2 detector, the huge EXIT sign above the door…bring an eye mask! 2) Even though there is a thermostat in the room, it is not controlled by the guest…after several hours of attempting to set the thermostat, we...

「The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The grounds were nice. Everything except the air conditioning in our room was nice. The air conditioning did not work properly and we complained about it daily and multiple times each day. They kept trying to fix it to no avail. Was disappointed with that and I think they should have offered us some comps or a percentage off the room. 」

「Golden Sun Hotel is in a truely gorgeous location. It is a delightfully quiet, restful place to swim (in both ocean and pool), read, enjoy the company of froends and marvel at the beautful view. The staff were pleasant to interact with and very welcoming. The facility is dated but in good condition and very well cared for. We very much enjoyed our brief stay and would enjoy a return visit!」
