「Alain made us extremely welcome at his lovely old house just a short drive from Giverny and Monet‘s fabulous garden. A quiet side road, pretty house, and all we could wish for for a two-night stay. 」

「Our stay at colors du temp was exactly what we needed after a long day of traveling from the u.s. and a day of driving and sightseeing! The hosts were very friendly and helpful and didn’t mind our lack of French language. We had the top floor of the house to ourselves, they had many amenities that unfortunately we were too tired to use. Florence helped order a pizza for dinner and provided a lovely breakfast. A beautiful place to stay when in the Giverny area.」

「The hotel was located right across the street from the station so it was very convenient as we traveled in and out of Rouen by train. The staff was very helpful and showed us how to get to the main attractions. We were upgraded to a larger room and it was great. There was a kettle and free tea bags and instant coffee were provided. Will definitely stay there again next time. 」

「Very welcoming host. Beautiful old house, room has been recently renovated and was very clean! Great location if you want visit the the Monet house in Giverny. 」

「Adorable! We absolutely loved this place, it was so charming and the staff were lovely. Pretty easy to find, parking on site. Walked around the river and the village. We were there long enough to visit the castle nearby but we would have if had time. 」
