「Terrible staff 」

「The effort put on the design of the resort to reflect traditional way of life is just amazing! It is a perfect reminder of the quiet and peaceful countryside life. The beauty of the flowering shrubs and the well-maintained nature and green areas had made walking within the compound absolutely peaceful and absorbing. It is a perfect place to get away from the hurly-burly of city life. There is a wonderful view of the lake from every direction. The lake is so still and surrounded by scenic trees...

「The room is spacious and the staff are friendly. Free shuttle bus service. Had a great time staying here. However, the restaurant is over-priced and tastes not good. Wouldn’t recommend.」

「The spa is good, but I have two comments. The jacuzzi was not clean, and there are no stairs or anything to help you get in and out of the jacuzzi, which led to my friend falling and it was scary. Other than that, everything is good. I didn’t get to see anything else because there was no light.」

「That place has never seen renovation since it was built decades ago. Guest rooms are dilapidated. It is a shame that once iconic establishment is now in ruins. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. I will never stay there again, but I would eat at the traditional restaurant but I won’t set foot in their guest rooms. 」

「There was no airport shuttle available this day even after they told me over the phone that a shuttle would come pick me up. Very disappointing. Honestly wouldn’t recommend it because it’s also harder to get to compared to so many other hotels in Addis. 」
